Crocosmia large-flowered mix formerly known as Montbretia is a very beautiful mixture of the large-flowered Crocosmia. The crocosmia's fiery colour palette will add a splash of colour to your garden or balcony. Plant them in well-drained soil at a depth of about ten centimetres in a place where they get mostly morning sun. Crocosmia is perfectly hardy, but on damp soils it is better to dig up the tubers in autumn and store them in a cool, dry place over the winter. On dry soils, they can remain in the ground over winter. With a long flowering period, Crocosmia is a fantastic summer plant.
