If you have moles in the garden, simply plant a few fritillaries and the scent of the bulbs will repel the moles from your garden. Fritillaria bulbs are very fragile, so they should be handled with care. Each bulb has to be handled by hand to prevent damage.

Planting fritillaria bulbs

Fritillaria bulbs are very delicate. Therefore plant them directly in a sunny or partial shade. Plant fritillaria bulbs in the autumn (between mid-October and mid-December) in well-drained soil. When planting them in clay soil, make sure to add some sand. In addition, make sure that they do not get too wet.
