Daffodil Ziva
This unique all-time favourite daffodil is a must have for all celebrations! Narcissus Ziva features unique looking flowers in a pure white colour. Each flower has three outer petals and three inner petals with a lovely, white cup-shaped trumpet in the centre. This variety has a sweet scent and reaches 40-50 cm in length.
Ziva belongs to the Tazetta group, which features strong fragrance, perfect medium size flowers and multiple bloomers from one stem. Originally, this variety comes from the warmer countries, such as Israel, which makes the bulbs quite vulnerable to frost.
This variety can also be used as a house plant and spread its natural sweet fragrance in your house instead. For those, who prefer growing Ziva in the flowerbed or garden borders, it is advised to plant the bulbs and afterwards to cover the area with pebbles to create some pressure, because the bulbs tend to stick out from the ground. In the Netherlands the Tazetta group feels at home and approves its neutral climate.
