Puschkinia Libanotica
This particular Puschkinia Libanotica is a subtle spring bloomer, beautifully white with fine blue lines in each flower. This beauty grows between 10 and 20 cm tall, it likes to be in full sun or a spot where there is also semi-shade. The flowering period will be March, April and these beauties originate from the alpine meadows in eastern Turkey, Iran, and Lebanon.
This particular spring bloomer is named after Count Puschkin who collected various plants in the Caucasus and died in 1805. Actually, these flowers just look like light porcelain, this Puschkinia is related to the Scilla and is therefore also good for naturalising, and as an underplanting in shrubs and trees. Give it a well-drained soil, and just enjoy this amazingly beautiful subtle spring bloomer.
