It’s that time again! From March 19th to May 10th, 2026, Keukenhof opens its gates for a spectacular new season. As a proud supplier and official partner of the most beautiful spring park in the world, QFB Gardening is once again the place where inspiration and quality meet.

While you enjoy millions of blooming tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths, you can start planning your own dream garden. This season, QFB Gardening is present with two physical shops in the park, surrounded by stunning show gardens:

  • Location 1: Near the Oranje-Nassau Pavilion.
  • Location 2: Near the Willem-Alexander Pavilion.

At these points of sale, you will find an exclusive assortment of the highest quality bulbs, available for immediate order. Whether you are looking for that one unique tulip variety you just photographed, or the popular wax amaryllises that require no water at all, our experts are ready to provide personal advice.

Highlights on the Agenda

A visit to Keukenhof in 2026 is extra special during the many themed events:

  • Dutch Heritage Weekend (March 27 – 29): Experience traditional crafts and folklore costumes among the flowers.
  • Flower Parade ‘Bollenstreek’ (April 18): The highlight of the year! On this Saturday, colorful floats pass by the park on their route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. Tip: Arrive early, as this is the busiest day of the season.
  • Easter (April 3 – 6): A charming weekend for the whole family.
  • Romance in Keukenhof (May 2 – 3): Enjoy classical music and performers in historical costumes.

Can’t wait to get started? In our shops, you can order your favorite spring bloomers for delivery in the autumn. This ensures a colorful spring in your own garden in 2027, exactly as you experienced it at Keukenhof 2026.

Tulip Trends for 2026

Want to know which specific tulip varieties are stealing the show this year? We’d love to tell you more about the latest trends for your garden in 2026!

Let’s be honest: in 2026, a tulip is no longer just a tulip. This year is all about texture, surprising color combinations, and a touch of nostalgia. Here are the three biggest trends you will see at the QFB Gardening shops in Keukenhof:

1. The "Vintage" Look (Pastels)

Forget harsh reds or bright yellows; 2026 is all about muted, antique colors. Think apricot, dusty rose, and coffee tones.

  • The Showstealer: Tulipa Foxy Foxtrot. This tulip changes color during its bloom (from soft yellow to apricot and salmon orange) and features a stunning double flower shape that resembles a peony.

2. Dramatic Textures: Fringed & Parrot

We are seeing a huge demand for tulips that look almost "unreal" due to their jagged edges or whimsical shapes.

  • The Showstealer: Tulipa 'Queensland'. A beautiful pink, double-flowered tulip with a fine white fringe on the edges. It instantly adds a luxury feel to any border.

3. "Dark & Moody" Contrasts

Deep purple, almost black, is the trend to make other colors pop. It gives your garden a modern, chic appearance.

  • The Showstealer: Tulipa 'Queen of Night'. A classic, but in 2026 more often combined with bright orange or golden-yellow tulips for a bold contrast that immediately catches the eye.

Expert Tip: In our shops and online, we have curated special "Trend Packs" this year. This way, you don't have to figure out which bulbs pair well together; we’ve already done the work for you!
