Product information "Fritillaria imperialis Aurora"
The Imperial or Kaiser’s crown Aurora (Fritillaria imperialis ‘Aurora’) is named after the Roman goddess of the dawn. This variety is tinted more orange-red, in comparison to the pure red crown Rubra (Fritillaria imperialis ‘Rubra’). Fritillaria Aurora has big bell-shaped flowers hanging downwards with a tall, sturdy stem that grows 90-100 cm, topped with a green ‘crown’. This type of Fritillaria is winter-sturdy and does not need any special care. Give the crown imperial a sunny spot in rich soil and it will not disappoint you!
