Product information "Gladiolus callianthus Murielae"
De Abyssinian gladiolus or fragrant gladiolus (Gladiolus callianthus ‘Murielae’), formerly known as Acidanthera ‘Murielae’, is a lovely scented sword lily with white star-shaped flowers and a purple centre. The flowers bloom one by one while new stems grow tall. As the name suggests, the Abyssinian gladiolus originates from Ethiopia. This gladiolus can be planted in the garden or in a flower pot. The bulbs are not very hardy, but if you break off the foliage and put the pots inside during winter time the gladiolus will bloom again next summer.
