Product information "Oxalis triangularis"
The Oxalis triangularis, sometimes called false-shamrock, is a variety with triangle-shaped, dark-red or brown-violet leaves that gives lilac-pink, clock-shaped flowers on tall stems. This oxalis is very suitable as decorative pot plant. They do need some water and light to be able to grow in a pot. Oxalis triangularis is not very hardy, they like to spend the winter in a cool and dry place. It is advised to take them inside before the first frost.
The leaves taste like lemons and are often used in salads and other meals. However, the leaves and flowers that come from our bulbs are not for human consumption. We like to invite you to enjoy the sight of the beautiful purple leaves of this extraordinary pot plant.
