Bergenia cordiflora is a beautiful perennial that is one of the early bloomers in our gardens. From March to April it delights with its wonderful umbellate pink flowers. It likes to be placed in partial shade or shade. This bergenia will reach a height of 30 to 40 cm. This uncomplicated, hardy Altai bergenia prefers a fresh, well-drained soil and remains evergreen. The leathery, green leaves turn purple-red to brownish in autumn. It is also suitable for planting in gardens with shrubs or trees, provided there are not too many tree roots near it.
