Purple coneflower (Echinacea purp.) 'Magnus'
The perennial Echinacea Magnus is an absolute eye-catcher in any garden. With its beautiful, large flowers in bright pink, it is a real feast for the eyes. The flower heads consist of numerous ray-shaped petals surrounded by a bright orange cone in the centre. This cone is not only an interesting colour contrast, but also has a practical function: it attracts numerous butterflies and bees and thus promotes pollination of other flowers in the garden. Echinacea Magnus grows up to 80 cm tall and feels most at home in sunny to semi-shady locations. It prefers well-drained soil and is therefore ideal for beds and borders. The perennial is also very easy to care for and hardy. Once established, it needs little water and care. Echinacea Magnus not only brings colour to the garden, but is also a valuable food source for insects and a great addition to other perennials and flowers.
